Bendix Starter Drive from the dismantling of a Kawasaki ZX6R Ninja.

In many models of motorcycle and scooter, a failure in the starter bendix is one of the most common faults when the motorcycle does not start, that's why we need to check its start-up operation to verify the state of the part. In our workshop we usually carry out these two checks:

• In the start-up, a correct linear start without jerks is checked.
• Once disassembled, the condition of the bearings or balls is checked.
• If the bendix has a starter crown, its condition is also checked.
