In order not to be affected by a long period of inactivity, the first thing to do is to purge the carburetors so that they do not have gasoline, that when evaporated can leave traces that obstruct the pumps.
The following will protect all chrome parts with anti-oxide spray or vaseline. And it is also important to clean the air filter from the inside out, never perpendicular to its surface, and using a compressed air gun. This will prevent dust particles from encroaching on the filter paper.
Another important step to prevent rust from appearing in the fuel tank is to empty the used oil from the crankcase to prevent impurities from damaging the engine, and refill it with fresh oil.
