CDI Unit from the disassemble of a Honda Pan European 1100 1990.

The electronic control unit, better known as CDI or ECU, is generally responsible for fuel management through the injection bodies or injection batteries, although we also find them in large-displacement motorcycles that also manage starting, ABS brakes, alarms, security encodings, etc.

Given the complexity of this kind of part, in our workshop we strive to check all its features before dismantling, so we verify:

• The correct operation on the motorcycle in march as well as the functions that must realize.
• That the connectors and their pins are in good condition.
• The good condition of the brackets or anchoring holes, if needed, since many go in a harness type rubber.
